Dr. Weiying Zhang is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified herbalist in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. She earned her medical doctor degree in China in 1990. In mid 1990s, Dr. Zhang came to the states. She continued a 4-year rigorous additional education at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City in Oriental Medicine as well as in Western Medicine. She is one of a few interns selected to practice acupuncture at the NYU Hospital,

Dr. Zhang's other experiences include acupuncture apprenticeship in a teaching hospital in China where she treated patients for internal diseases, allergy, muscle/joint pain, paralysis and other neurological disorders. Dr. Zhang also practiced Chinese herbal medicine at a TCM hospital in China under a prominent Chinese physician.
