Dr. Zhang is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified herbalist in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. She earned her medical doctor degree in China in 1990. In 2005, Dr. Zhang gained her master degree in Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. She was one of a few interns selected to practice acupuncture at the NYU Hospital.
In 2005, OriLife opened 2 clinics in the greater Philadelphia area. Patients are mostly local residents or returning patients. Helping patients is a positive feeling to Dr. Zhang.

Treatment Philosophy
The philosophy of acupuncture is to treat one specific disease by taking into consideration of conditions of the whole body and to treat underline causes. Therefore, in some cases, the initial effect of acupuncture is not as dramatic as patients hoped. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs are for the long-term benefit of treating the underline diseases rather than short-term effects of suppressing symptoms.
