Dr. Zhang is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified herbalist in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. She earned a medical doctor degree in China in 1990. In 2005, Dr. Zhang gained a master degree in Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. She was one of a few interns selected to practice acupuncture at the NYU Hospital.
In 2006, OriLife opened 2 clinics in the greater Philadelphia area. Patients are mostly local residents or returning patients. Helping patients is a positive feeling to Dr. Zhang.

Treatment Philosophy
The philosophy of acupuncture is to treat whole body as a complete system rather than suppressing local symptoms. Chinese acupuncture and herbs are intended to cure diseases in the long-run. Dr. Zhang combines techniques of modern acupuncture and those passed along through classic lineage.
